=520  3\$aThis work studies the presence of mythology in the decoration of the gardens and the Alameda de Osuna palace, a complex built at the end of the 19th century north of Madrid and popularly known as El Capricho park. In the gardens we fi nd, among others, the sculptures of Hercules and Cacus, Bacchus, Venus, Saturn devouring a son. Of the palace, the nine reliefs dedicated to Apollo stand out, which develop two episodes of his life: his infatuation with the nymph Daphne and his relationship with his son Phaethon.
