In this paper, we address the necessary extension of the commonly accepted trilogy to a tetralogy with the inclusion of Police Corruption as part of the series thanks to the analogical relations that this work shows with the rest. To this end, we will analyse the textual and paratextual components of the work with the aim of demonstrating how this integration is not only possible but also appropriate in the rhetorical constructionof narco violence based on its identification, first, as a crime novel and, second, as a tragedy according to the model described by Aristotle.
