No obstante, un análisis de las relaciones de poder de las tres mujeres en A Raisin in the Sun, de Lorraine Hansberry, basado en el pensamiento de Derrida, muestra que dichas nociones no toman en cuenta el dinamismo ni la complejidad en las relaciones de poder y sugiere el establecimiento de una nueva idea de poder: el poder transformativo.
