=520  3\$aIn this paper we analyse a diachronic corpus of 29 notarial documents from Malaga dating from between 1497 and 1551. All documents, coming from the collections of the Historical Archive of Malaga, share a series of common formal and structural features due to the fact that they belong to the same historical and discourse traditions (Diskurstraditionen). The aim of this research is to analyse the linguistic elements which define this type of text (notarial documents). On the one hand, we pay attention to the typological features. Our objective is to examine the features which correspond to the language, textual and culture awareness of the public notary highly conscious of the need to construct the notarial documents in a ruled and professional way. On the other hand, we focus our study on the analysis of the pragmatic features related to two different points of view: the pragmatic features of the speaker and those of the receiver. The examples we analyse show a great complexity associated to the essence of the message.
