=520  3\$aThe poetry of the second half of the 20th century insists to formulate literary figurations of the subject of the motherhood from the moment that the development of the social or human sciences has brought to light that this is a representation or set of representations produced by the culture. The present work supposes an approach to the "construction or reconstruction of mothers" in the work of Anne Sexton, Maria-Mercè Marçal and Anise Koltz from a basic guideline: approaching the mothers of the authors' psychological description as figures reconstructed in the poems. Therefore, what we propose is to make an analysis of the mechanisms that regulate the discursive construction of the concept of motherhood through its representations in the work of these three contemporary authors.
