=520  3\$aStarting from the analysis of different cultural activities produced from "non-Western" locations, we would like to show how it works a very particular kind of gender violence, a violence that we have called "geographic". Those activities, which share artistic and activist features, are not only working as "counter-representational" exercises, but also, by using different "tactics" (critical ways of doing), they could be considered as one of the principal tools for the construction of a new and global feminist project. The goal of this common project would be, thus, the unmask of these ways of "representational" violence in relation to the circulating images of "non-Western" women, created and maintained by the economical and geopolitical relationships which, at the same time, underpin the "globalized" World.
