=520  3\$aThis article aims to understand the use of chronic journalistic among students and young adults in a state school on the outskirts of Bethlehem (Brazil). An intervention was made in the school curriculum. Thirty-tow students participated, divided into two classes, A and B, both with sixteen students. Analysis was both qualitative and quantitative using observation, questionnaire, interview and analysis of content. The results show positive outcomes in the chronicles produced by students in the class A and negative outcomes in the chronicles of the students in class B.
