=520  3\$aFrom the critical discussion of the hypothesis proposed so far about the French constructions with avec preposition before pause, this paper has two basic objectives: 1) their theoretical and methodological weaknesses, resulting from the adoption of excluding points of view, must be rectified by an integrated approach of levels and perspectives for linguistic study, and 2) The conclusion that such constructions, still not completely accepted normatively, are continuing its very advanced way to standardization, a fact supported by a process of linguistic change internal and highly profitable in its system: the so-called détachement.
