=520  3\$aThis paper analyzes the french version of Cervantes's exemplary novel  La fuerza de la sangre written by Alexandre Hardy titled La force du sang. A text in  general little known in Spain that pays tribute to Cervantes through a tragicomedy  whose aesthetic can be understood as an intermediate step between the french  Renaissance theater and the classicist comedy of the mid-seventeenth century.  Hardy, as in any rewrite, does not always remain faithful to the cervantine model,  and adds, deletes or modifies, according to its own aesthetic criteria
