We will  focus both on the suggestions that appear in the correspondence and on the annotations of the editions of  several philologists. In this cultural context, the comparison in matters of Greek and Latin textual criticism  is revealed. Finally, we will explain these comments in the frame of some discussions about a Lucan's verse.
