It focuses on one of these literary construction techniques: the poetic translation of the hypotext, in rhymed verse, versus the gloss. The two Hispanic texts that are composed through this resource are identified: Juan del Encina's poem and Miquel Ortigués, the first in Spanish and the second in Catalan. Neither the one nor the other have been the subject of previous critical editions, at least of a certain philological solvency, which is why the critical edition of both is offered here. It is based on two author cancioneros as a base testimony, with implications for its textual quality. However, the poem by Miquel Ortigues is also transmitted through a printed edition, which contains important variants in its final part, which could raise doubts about its genuineness.
