As consequence of the popularity of this writer and of the attraction of his awkward subject matter, the parodists recreated his dramas and offered a new perspective of the political reality of the epoch, marked by the dispute among conservative and liberal parties, as well as by the sporadic presence of the anarchism. These facts belong to the general interest and, as such, they form a part of the playful activity of the parody.
