=520  3\$aSome Observations on the classic tradition in the Empresas políticas The study of the appointments of classic authors in the Empresas políticas of Diego de Saavedra throws really showy results, such as the varied use of the appointments as much to show to the erudition and the doctrinal founding, as hide-and-seek the use of Maquiavelo, or the relation of some Empresas with respect to others by the use of identical classic sources. Finalemente, the Empresas políticas show the use of classic authors little frequented who also appear in the second writing of República literaria, like, for example, the Controversiae de Séneca Old and Historia Augusta.
