In this paper is proposed an integrative reading of the works by Pedro de Guevara, from his first grammatical writings to La escala del entendimiento. Here it is defended that Guevara should not be analyzed exclusively as a follower of the ideas of El Brocense or of the Lulian tradition, but as an eclectic author, who tried to combine the Trivium of El Brocense with the Art of Llull.
