In his poem in prose Santa Lucía y San Lázaro, Federico García Lorca try to clarify the aesthetic way that he had to follow after the creation of Romancero gitano. As a matter of fact, Federico García Lorca indicated, through Santa Lucía y San Lázaro, that he prefered not to follow the aesthetic line of coldness that the catalan painter Salvador Dalí was defending, but neither the way of the passion that he himself had followed in his book Romancero gitano.
