Studie, jejímž záměrem je revidovat význam termínu "poetismus" a ověřit, zda je uplatnitelný při analýze jazyka současné poezie. V analytické části studie jsou detekována některá specifika jazyka současné české lyriky, které ji odlišují od běžně mluveného a psaného jazyka s využitím dat Korpusu současné poezie. Autoři studie se soustředí na rozlišení dvou typů poetismů - poetismů funkčních (definovaných na základě frekvence) a poetismů esenciálních (slova používaná výhradně v básnickém jazyce).
