    During our present environmen- tal and social crises, an integrated response is required at a supranational and even planetary level. The main challenge is to move from an anthropocentric to an eco- centric mentality that respects and pre- serves nature.This impulse must be guid- ed by diverse social and thought currents. Reading, in this orientation, is a strategic weapon: its task is to (re) signify reality, giv- ing a renewed meaning to all that we have categorized as naturist readings.We review, therefore, the incidence of the anthological turn in the approach of readings on nature and the role of new narratives of water. In the eld of didactic intervention, crite- ria and good practices of intervention are proposed, based on three pillars: to pro- mote the vernacular culture of water, to promote programs of sensitization, and to use ecofeminist proposals.
