This paper aims to show the dramatic possibilities of Juan del Encina's Égloga representada por las mismas personas, best known as Égloga de Mingo, Gil y Pascuala, included in the first edition of his Cancionero (Salamanca, 1496). The scenic resources of disguise and atrezzo will be analyzed to typify their characters and to show their change of disguise (and status) on stage.
