For this purpose, he used all sorts of devices: convenience marriages, dedication of his works to public personalities, new nationalities and identities, etc. After analyzing these strategies of simulation, we proceed to study how there are interpretations of some of his plays that help reveal the drama of his life. Such is the case of El valiente Campuzano, a play that mirrors, through the Moorish character don Pedro, the injustice and discrimination suffered by the author himself.
