In this paper it is exposed a classroom experience called AMANTES, AMENTES? about an interdisciplinary project among two optional subjects in 4th ESO's grade curriculum: Latin and Philosophy, during the course 2017-2018. The main purpose is to work alternatively the dialogues of Plato's Symposium which are related to love typologies, with the study about love in classical literature, mythological texts and pieces of art (picture, sculpture, fresco, mosaic, etc.). There is a particular emphasis on the Latin contents, as I am the Latin teacher, in order to propose objectives, methodology, assessment and conclusions. Interdisciplinary projects help students to reach a global perspective about the humanistic dimension. The study of antiquity broadens their horizons, so that they can experience the richness of the Classical Studies. Due to our subjects' interdisciplinary contents, the possibility of including projects like these in the ESO period becomes very important and necessary.
