                            [a] => This article is a collection and analysis of all the letras de justadores (poems of knights participating in a tournament) that Marcos Martínez incorporated into his chivalric romance entitled Tercera parte del espejo de príncipes y cavalleros (1588). The poems have been classified into ten poetic categories defined by courtly love. The poems will be analyzed by means of their plot. For each poem we can identify three levels of meaning: a narrative or plot level, an allegorical-representational level (specifically the description of arms and heraldic symbols borne by the knights), and a poetic level in which the words themselves express the meaning of the characters' feelings or the meaning of the scene being narrated. In addition, a catalogue of the letras is offered.
