This article presents an analysis of the use of polymetrics in the composition of one of the best comedies of entanglement written by Calderón de la Barca: A House with Two Doors is Difficult to Guard. By observing the type, the quantity and the distribution of the metric forms used by the playwright, the aim is to determine how each of the two pairs of protagonists extend, interweave and knot the threads in the fabric of the dramatic plot
