Segundo de Chomón was one of the main exponents of Silent Cinema. He dominated many techniques and was a fantasy's master. His inventions were decisive in the beginnings of cinematograph. Due to the use of these in his films, he managed to generate a new dramatic tension in front of the camera. Among his more than five hundreds films, stands out El Hotel Eléctrico, filmed in 1908. Although this film is not the only one which Chomón put to service of dramatic cinematographic narration his talented and diversal technical repertory. A necessary tour for the work of one of the greatest unknown filmmakers.
