    Advertising is present in each and every area of our lives. There is advertising on all kinds of products, that can be used to dress, put on shoes, feed, have fun, etc. If everyone, to a greater or lesser extent, is infl uenced by advertising, our students are not less so, so it can be considered feasible that it be used in the classroom, as if it were another didactic tool, to achieve greater educational effectiveness. The teachers that teach subjects in the E.S.O. have to overcome a series of barriers that are conditioned, fundamentally, by the stage that the students live, they are adolescents and that is refl ected in the classes. For this reason it is essential to motivate them, make them see the usefulness of the subject and get their attention from the fi rst moment. For it, this paper presents the use of advertising as a didactic tool for the teaching of E.S.O. subjects, as one more strategy of the classroom, and its practical application will be explained with one of its subjects, the Classical Culture of 2nd of E.S.O., relating it to Roman Law.
