This communication intends to develop a detailed analysis of the art that the rhetor proposes in order to create prosopopoiia. A clear link to this progymnasma is the Aristotelian theory of the property of speech, drawn to establish the characterization, essential to an intense reflexive process that requires finding arguments that correspond with the characters and circumstances that may determine them
