                            [a] => In order to study the cultural history of childbirth in the Iberian Peninsula during the early Modern period, from an interdisciplinary perspective, History of Literature provides us with analytic tools in order to classify and study literary written sources. This paper suggests the creation of a diverse corpus, proposes some categories of classification, and suggests some hypothesis and ideas for the analysis of representations. We will pay special attention to the presence of women, as authors as well as literary constructs.
