There are three different variants of the legend: a) Mary Magdalene converts after listening to her sister's words; b) the Magdalene converts after listening to Christ's preaching; c) Martha convinces her sister to listen the Messiah's preaching. I will study these topics in Italian and French Middle Age literature; as well as its success in XVIth century Spanish literature.
