The aim of this article is to study the discursive universes generated by women who participated in the publishing trade during the Modern Age. Current research on this issue has shown us that it is possible to access their oral word through the wide range of legal and juridical texts that they originated on their own initiative and that are currently preserved in printed matter and manuscripts in libraries and archives of various kinds. In this respect, it is possible to establish a classification of these testimonies around two poles: the first has to do with the documentation related to the process of publication of a specific work. In turn, the second collects the documentation related to the legal procedures in which these women were involved due to their condition as agents who formed part of the publishing market. These texts have made it possible to rescue their own names, trace their trajectories, and extract the common characteristics of the group, but also the peculiarities of each one of them
