During the last two decades Quevedo's dramatic work, especially his entremeses, have been the focus of a significant number of studies. This has been possible thanks to the publication of such works in critical editions that present reliable texts. Our general understanding and comprehension of his dramatic texts and the scenographic techniques used by don Francisco have allowed us to move beyond previous interpretations that focused only on linguistic aspects and his brilliant manipulation of language. Nonetheless, there are passages that still require further explanation. This work focuses on explaining six of those passages: two are located in the Entremés primero de Bárbara, two in the Entremés de la destreza, another one in the Entremés de los enfadosos and the last one in the Entremés de la venta
