In the first part of the article, we will examine the  textual tradition, the fable's intertextuality and the Petrarchian codes appeared in  the author's lyrical poetry. In the second part, we are going to do an analysis based  on close reading, which will be complemented by distant reading methods, including  a computational statistics programme entitled ContaWords
