Therefore, a pragmatic perspective is taken as a methodological model and modality is understood in a triple way. The study is based on a diachronic corpus in order to examinate whether there is a genetic relation between the axiological value and the deontic value. Finally, we postulate an explanation about why the speakers decide to use these terms to express this deontic meaning.
