The study compares a story gathered in Lambayeque, Peru, in 2014, with European and Andean variants to propose the motive of El condenado desmembrado. In addition, the recurrent of the confrontation between protagonist and opponent of the story gathered admits that its narrative structure can be explained based on the semantic reconstitution of two tales like (The Youth Who Wanted to Learn what Fear is and The Kind and the Unkind Girls) of the index established by Aarne and Thompson. Finally, this study poses the organization of the story based on the narrative program of exchange and the veridictory modalities.
