Several compositions of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries are marked by their comedy in function of portraying customs and weaknesses of the court society of the period, as is the case of the novel El coloquio de los perros by Miguel de Cervantes. In this sense, the episode that was chosen for the present study describes the moment that the dog Berganza was in the service of a bailiff. Thus, the story of this coexistence is full of burlesque scenes, where the use of the scenic element is responsible for transforming the episode into an entremez. Based on these characteristics, this work will be limited to presenting more clarifications about this genre, as well as the dialogue that establishes with this cervantine narrative.
