Mucia was a figure with fascinating life experience and a real  proof of the importance of women as political agents of influence and impact in the last  century of the Roman Republic. Mucia witnessed other examples of women with significant  importance in the high political sphere of the Republic: Servilia, Fulvia; Julia, daughter  of the future princeps; or the very same princeps' sister Octavia, among others.
