                            [a] => Amando Lázaro Ros (1886-1962) worked as a translator and editor for Aguilar publishing house during the first two decades of the Francoism. Although this subject has been studied, we know little about him. Committed to lelf-wing political throughout the Second Spanish Republic and the Spanish Civil War, he was imprisoned five years after the conflict. Besides, he wrote some novels that have fallen intooblivion. This paper attempts to be a bio-bibliographic study of the author's life and the literary work. To this end, we analyze the primary and secondary sources and, especially, the documents guarded in different archives.
