In particular it notes the possibilities arising out of the use of a late mediaeval unit of measure, tha cafiz, and judges these in relation to further evidence that is forthcoming from the chronicle.  It concludes by pointing out the problems in any determina­tion of time and place, as well as suggesting further avenues of research toward the specification of both.
