Some of these turn out to be fortuitous and with the passage of time, enter into literary history. In relation to Spanish poetry, we have come to debate two of these labels in the last few years: "the other sentimentality" and "the poetry of experience." Taken up by some and reviled by others, I will consider some of the most representative Spanish poets of the last decades in light of these terms.
