    Adnotacja:

Juan Rodolfo Wilcock was a very active member of the generation of Argetine poets of the 1940's and the clearest representative of neo-romantic intimism and melancholy sentimentalism. The political and cultural drift in Argentina led to his voluntary exile in Italy in 1957 and his adoption of a new linguistic homeland. This change in language had a positive result in the originality of his work and led him to reinvent his style and to explore new thematic lines. Wilcock, as an exile and a foreigner, produced a literature freed from the constrains of cultural traditions and he approached European topics with complete irreverence. As a result of his unorthodox and unconventional writing, the author is unknown in Argentina and Italy, although today is reviewed and highly valued.
