This influence affects key aspects of the novel (themes, narrative techniques, characters, episodes, intertextual allusions...), especially those newer techniques that exploit the most refreshing novels of the twentieth century: perspectivism and reflection on the act itself to write. To which we must add its parodic purpose regarding a narrative genre quite in vogue today in Spanish literature: the novel of "autofiction".
