    Reading comprehension is one of the principal areas of study in the educational field, as much for the complexity of the processes and abilities it implicates as for its importance in school children�s education. The reading comprehension deficit is a consequence of several factors, one of which is found to be poverty of vocabulary. Our investigation tried to determine the level of reading comprehension difficulties in primary school children, and to assess the limitations of their vocabulary.
